The Aircraft Carrier Charade
The duplicity of all UK
Governments should never be underestimated, and the current uncertainty thrown
over the building of our two new aircraft carriers, by the Defence Secretary,
is a fitting example.
Both, Gordon Brown and Tony
Blair, the liars of Downing Street were, while
gifting our sovereignty and political independence to the EU, both secretly
touting for the Presidency of the EU.
Gordon Brown upped the stakes
by offering the EU one of our planned aircraft carriers, while at the same time
justifying his signing of the EU Treaty, by claiming; it was a different to the
EU Constitution because, the EU had abandoned its federal ambitions?
The Con/Lib Conolition, are
as pro EU as New Labour, and it is worth noting that all key government appointments
are held by the liberal elite. The
charade of defending the UK’s
interests, over that of the EU’s increased federalism, and its intolerance of
opposition from national governments, is already splitting at the seams.
An aircraft carrier has been
promised to the EU, by Gordon Brown, and an aircraft carrier they will
get.
If our Conolition Government
does not shortly announce that the good old EU has offered to share the cost of
a solitary aircraft carrier, on a shared ownership basis, then Rooney’s, Juicy
Lucy, is still a virgin.
